Renewing a service and checking invoices

Use the service and invoice information in your customer portal for an existing service renewal. A promotion shown to new customers does not necessarily match the renewal price of your existing contract.

Check before the due date

Sign in to the HostBill customer portal. Find the service or domain you want to renew and check its name, identifier, expiry date, billing period and currency. If several services have similar names, confirm that you selected the correct invoice. A domain and its hosting can expire on different dates.

Verify the amount and payment method

Review invoice items, tax and the total. If the amount differs from your expectation, open a support ticket with the invoice number before paying. Use a method offered by the portal for that transaction. If automatic payment is available, separately confirm that it is enabled and its payment method is current. An issued invoice or a saved card does not prove that collection has completed.

Confirm the result after payment

Check the invoice status and new service expiry date. If your bank or payment provider reports success while the invoice remains open, contact support with the transaction time and reference before paying the same amount again. Do not share card numbers or sign-in codes.

If you will not renew

Check cancellation conditions and timing in your agreement. Export website files, databases and required email before closing a service. If you need a different plan, see the upgrade guide before cancelling and reordering. Domain expiry deadlines are not the same as general hosting renewal rules; ask support about extension-specific conditions.
